Renter must be at least 18 years old and have a valid passport and driving license. Renter should have with him/her the original copy of passport and driving license on the day of pick up.
According to the Rental Agreement signed by the two parties , Renter has no right to provide the car to the use of another person if he/she is not authorized by Tripcar rent a car company as an additional driver. Additional driver service is free.
The Renter acknowledges and confirms that he/she will not permit anyone to drive the Vehicle:
1) who is not authorized by the Tripcar rent a car and is not registered in the Rental Agreement as an additional driver
2) who does not meet the minimum requirements of Tripcar rent a car and official state law regarding driver’s age, validity of driving license and/or any other minimum requirements;
3) Who is authorized by Tripcar rent a car, but is under alcoholic influence, narcotic or any other stuff affective consciousness or ability to react, or who is exhausted.
Notification: In case of breach of this clause the Renter remains responsible for the whole damage and its circumstances.
Tripcar rent a car offers 2 insurance packages: standard insurance and full insurance.
Standard insurance package is already included in the price and includes third part liability insurance (TPL), TP (theft protection), CDW (Collision damage waiver), driver's and passengers' injuries caused by an accident. The excess is 120000 AMD for car groups Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio. For all other car groups the excess is 150000 AMD.
Full insurance package can be purchased by paying additional 7000 AMD per-day (maximum 49000 AMD for 7 days if the rental is more than 7 days). Full insurance package covers all damages which can happen to the rented car, except for tires and the interior part of the car. The excess is 80000 AMD for car groups Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio. For all other car groups the excess is 100000 AMD.
Both insurance packages are valid in the territory of Armenia and Georgia.
Accidents, Theft, Vandalism and Damages
1) The Renter must immediately inform about road accident, scratches, crash, theft of the Vehicle or any stolen parts and/or any other incident the Vehicle is involved. It's mandatory to stop the vehicle and not to move it from the place of accident until Tripcar rent a car is not informed about it.
2) Without Tripcar rent a car permission and the police presence the Renter must not accept any liability or release the other part of the accident on his sole decision. The Renter must immediately report the company, police and the insurance company about the accident and follow the further instructions. If the Renter does not follow these instructions, then he/she remains fully responsible for the damage and the circumstances.
3) If an accident happens in case of theft and/or vandalism, the Renter must immediately report the police and the company and at police presence fill all the necessary documentation. Upon returning the rental vehicle the Renter must provide the copy of the protocol filled at the moment of the accident. Attention! If the police protocol misses, then the Renter remains fully responsible for the damage.
4) The Renter must keep the Vehicle keys, official documents, remote control and anti – theft system safely. If the vehicle is stolen, the Renter will be required to return all these belongings to Tripcar rent a car.
5) In case of some obstacles such as darkness, weather conditions, time and/or place of the Vehicle return, vehicle uncleanness and it makes impossible for Tripcar rent a car representative to define the loss of Vehicle parts and/or damages, then Tripcar rent a car has the right within 48 hours to charge for loss or damage with prior notification to the Renter.
Customers have the opportunity to pay either cash or by card.
All types of international credit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, ARCA, American Express)
Payment by cash is accepted only in armenian currency – AMD .
Payment is done on the day of pick up, before collecting the car.
Deposit is a security amount, which is left by Renter while picking up the car.
Deposit is 150.000 AMD, if the Renter takes standard insurance package.
Deposit of 100.000 AMD will be required, if the Renter takes full insurance package.
The deposit amount is preauthorized from the credit card of Renter and is automatically returned to his/her bank account within 30 days.
Deposit by cash is also accepted, and is immediately returned back to Renter if he/she returns the car in the same condition as it was at the pick-up time. Deposit by cash is possible to make in AMD,EUR, USD, RUB.
The vehicle is provided to the Renter with full tank of fuel. The required fuel type is 95 petrol (Premium). In case, if the Renter returns the car with less fuel, he/she pays 600 AMD for each missing litre.
Reccomended gas stations are: Flash, CPS, MaxOil.
Tripcar rent a car is not responsible for customer property or belongings which are left or forgotten inside the vehicle after drop off. Renter should check the interior part of the vehicle before returning it or at the moment of return.
Parking in Yerevan is not included in the rental price. Parking is marked with specialized red lines in Yerevan. Parking fee depends on parking time and varies from 2200AMD to 18000AMD.Parking at the Yerevan Airport is also provided for customers when they arrive or fly back.
Parking outside Yerevan is free except some private parkings.
All fines captured from cameras and speed cameras are sent to the address of the Renter. All fines should be paid within 21 days. Tripcar rent a car informs all customers about fines which they get during their rental. Avoiding the payment of traffic/parking fines may casue further financial responsibility for the Renter, and gives a right to Tripcar rent a car to charge the respective amounts from his/her credit cards.
One-way rentals are available in the territory of Armenia and Georgia.
Renter has the right to cross Armenian – Georgian border with prior written permission of Tripcar rent a car company. An authorization document for crossing the border is provided for 20.000AMD.
One-way rental to Tbilisi (any location) is provided for 80.000 AMD.
Pick up/Drop off at Zvartnots International Airport is free of charge.
Pick up/drop off at Gyumri Airport is provided for 20.000 AMD.
Portable wi-fi– 2000 AMD per day (14.000AMD if the rental is more than 7 days)
Child seat – 3000 AMD per day (21.000AMD maximum if the rental is more than 7 days)
Booster seat – 2000 AMD per day (14.000AMD maximum if the rental is more than 4 days)
Additional driver service – free of charge
Full insurance – 7000AMD per day ( 49000 AMD maximum if the rental is more than 7 days)
Warranty for border crossing with Georgia – 20000 AMD
